Review : Not the Lazy Boy Qualitythat I thought I was buying
We purchased this with the 6 pc love seat set (we similarly reviewed it). Lazy Boy could do a lot to make the assembly experience a lot better. It takes considerable more time to assemble than we expected and there are a number of alignment and fit issues that 1) make it tough to assemble, and 2) still havent got all the pieces to sit flat (they teeter a bit). There are a lot of fasteners and caps to assemble but no extras, so if you drop one through the deck slats it basically means a trip to Home Depot (maybe put down a sheet or something). The weave is loose in a lot of places, covering the screw holes, which compounds the alignment issues basically making it a two person, multi-hour job.
The pieces look nice but don't sit/feel as well as we had hoped- closer to the chain store quality, definitely not premium quality. We'll likely trade up next season. For the price, it wasn't the Lazy Boy quality that we had expected from our interior furniture purchases.
