NOTE: There is a large manufacturer's sticker on one of the panels. I made the mistake of ripping it off, thinking the sticker wasn't a true 'glue' -well, it ripped off the fake laminate paint - so now there's a big white scratch patch. If you use this vertically- no problem: The sticker's on the bottom. But I use mine horizontally, so now I have to figure out how to conceal this.
Shipment: this purchase took a much longer time to deliver than any other Amazon purchase. It took nearly the full 10 days from purchase to receive. I was a bit disappointed, but it wasn't advertised to be any speedier.
Materials: I would NEVER pay the full price listed for this bookcase. This is cheap pressed wood with a fake finish. I'm ok with that - I wanted something cubicle and modern - didn't expect a "real wood" look. At the same time - these materials would not be worth any more than the $156 or so I paid.
Packaging: Weighs 66-70 lbs. Heavy, but manageable...
